Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Design & Technology Department, ensuring high academic and practical standards.
- Teach across a range of Design and Technology disciplines, including Graphic Communication
Product Design / Resistant Materials, Systems and Control, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and emerging
technologies where appropriate - Deliver both practical and theoretical components of the curriculum with a commitment to innovation, creativity,
and high academic standards. - Support, mentor, and develop departmental teaching staff.
- Contribute fully to the vibrant academic, co-curricular, and pastoral life of a busy boarding school community.
Applicant Requirements & Qualifications
- Relevant degree from a recognised institution and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Design & Technology with strong subject knowledge.
- Ability to deliver practical and theoretical aspects of the subject with high standards of creativity and innovation.
- Experience with the Cambridge International syllabus.
- Previous departmental leadership experience.
- A clear understanding of the commitment, ethos, and lifestyle required in a boarding school environment.
